I'm shocked that a guy named Semper Fi hates a movie that makes Marines look like fanatical maniacs. That being said, I don't think you can argue that that the writing and acting aren't excellent.

I'll agree a little with your assessment, just thought the way Cruise made a full bird Colonel crack on the witness stand was a bunch of shit and took away from the movie. But of course obviously I am biased.
Similiar to the movie The Net with Sandra Bullock using IP addresses starting in the range of 268. Stuff like that bothers me.

I'm willing to cut him a break, after Wild Things (...which kicked ass...) and that new, self-mocking "Seven Degrees of Kevin Bacon" Visa commercial. I think that's pretty amusing.

Although I've gotten past it, I used to really despise Bruce Willis. In fact, if I was going to cum too fast, my girlfriend knew to whisper "Bruce Willis... Bruce Willis..." in my ear, and I'd be good to go.

Objectively, I guess that might sound kinda weird.
