This Dennis Dodd idiot doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground.

Top 25 College football stadiums...........and NO OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY ???????

I'm no expert but in addition to Columbus, I have been to Raleigh, Clemson, Ann Arbor, East Lansing, West Lafayette and Chapel Hill.

Excusion of the horseshoe, block O, script Ohio, pregame skull sessions and pregame Buckeye tailgates is nothing more than pure stupidity.

Hell, the band by itself would blow away most of its competition.

Columbus, OH belongs at least in the top 10.

Not trying to bash....BUT...you haven't really seen many REAL stadiums! Not to mention football atmosphere! Raleigh? Chapel Hill? Clemson?

I've been to Columbia (Gamecocks rule)
Tennessee
Georgia
LSU

(oh, I've been to Chapel Hill and Clemson...they don't compare)

Never been to OSU, but I know there are quite a few amazing stadiums/atmospheres out there. ACC has none of them. Well, maybe FSU and now VT.

I went to a game at VT a few years back. wasn't real impressed with the stadium, but their campus is real nice. All old stone buildings, and a huge courtyard where they used to do the morning drills at. I would say their courtyard is about half the size of UNC's main campus.

It is difficult for someone to comprehend who has not been (lived) there but the football traditions and spirit in the state of Ohio and particularly Columbus is awsome and there is no comparison. That could all change but it will take time.

Let's just cut to the chase here.......

any list with Clemson, Ann Arbor, State College & Madison that EXCLUDES Columbus, OH is pure stupidity.

When I read his quote about Michigan.... "Surprisingly mellow for a crib that draws 100,000-plus.....", I'm convinced this guy is talking with his head stuck between his legs.

I have been to Ohio State's field, but not for a game, it is monsterous, and should be on that list.

I been to Doak Campbell and it was a great atmosphere even in the whooping FSU took from Miami. Been to Michie stadium as well, great place for football. Seen Notre Dame play twice but both were at Giant Stadium, one game was versus Navy and they refused to kick to Rocket Ismail until we left in the 4th and he returned it for a TD. Rutgers stadium has potential for the northeast if they ever get their act straight. Went to the RU/Miami game last season and I was eyeing up the FG post in the 3rd quarter...too bad football isn't like hockey.

I've never been to Columbus, but I have to agree, this list is totally incomplete without the dotting of the I. First off, that stadium is HUGE, and from what I've heard, (my cousin went there a few years back for Penn State/OSU) the place ROCKS, especially when OSU is on defense. This guy doesnt know what the hell hes talkin about.

How are the Rutgers games anyway? Why cant there be decent college football around here?????
