i was at 198 a few years back and working out. i'd like to see that again. for me its not so much a weight thing. working out and watching weight can be decieving.
you don't look 230. looked pretty solid in a non-gay way.

Ill be the first woman here to put down my weight. Im 185 and I want to get down to at least 140. Last year at this time I was 205 then about January this year I quit loosing but kept off what I lost. Im going out to dust off my bike, put air in the tires and hope like hell my astma doesnt kick in riding the thing. Im also going to make it a point to quit smoking. One way or another Im going to do this even if it drives my family crazy.

My senior year in HS, I was 5'11 and started the year at 165 after 2-a-days in football. I was actually underweight for the first and only time in my life. I graduated at around 205, and that was a really good weight for me at the time.
I talked with my doc last year about a target weight for me (I'm 6'0, 285 now) and he said with my frame he'd like to see me at 235 to 240.
You're a couple inches shorter than me, but you've still got a solid frame from what I can tell in the pics. I'd say 225 to 230 would probably be a great target for you. JMO. :)
I'm about 205 - I think - my scales suck so I ain't sure. I swore I would start cutting off body parts if I ever went over 200.
I would like to be around 180 so that puts me at 25 pounds.
but no immediate diet plans in the futre. it'll happen when it happens

Maybe your doc is trying to set achievable goals, but that's definitely not a healthy weight still. You're massively overweight at 6'0 and 285 - 60-80 lbs extra easily. For 5'10-11, I'd say 180 is a MUSCULAR guy in good shape, 165 is a strong guy in good shape. 20lbs over ideal weight is not going to kill you, but it's not good. 40lbs is bad for that heart. 80lbs is insane. You're DEEEP into the obese territory at that point...

170 now. Last year at this time I was 155 but probably 50% stronger. I just need to get back into the gym regularly and get back on smoothie diet. I used to be 150 in college and bench 265. I don't think I can ever get to that point again. :(

first plan. i will do fruits and veggies only on mondays. i tend to over eat on the weekends, so i will give my body a rest on mondays.
I started the atkins 2.5 days ago and I've gained 7 lbs. What the hell am I doing wrong? Eggs and meat for almost three days with vitamin suppliments and I'm shaking like a leaf, drinking 10 glasses of water a day, pissing every other hour.

Temporary weight gain is a possibility. I would guess most of that is water weight which will go away in a couple of days.
Can you post your exact menu?
One last question and this isn't in jest....are you regular? You might want to take some fiber.

Breakfast: 1 piece of Sausage and a bag of Pork skins with 3 12 ounce glasses of water.
Lunch: Bacon cheese burger 86 the bun with 2 12 ounce glasses of water
Snack: slim jim and 2 12 ounce glasses of water.
Dinner: Proscettu ham, piece of tuna 2 12 ounce glasses of water.
Today
One multivitamin
Breakfast: 2 eggs, with cheddar cheese and proscettu ham 2 12 ounce glasses of water.
Snack: Slim Jim 2 12 ounce glasses of water
Lunchtoday: chicken, egg, bacon lettuce salad with ranch
Yesterday I shit all day long. Today has been normal.

Are you eating a lot of fruit? You always hear the "cut the bread, cut the sugar" stuff, but, what people don't often talk about regarding Atkins is that fruit also contains some forms of sugar. I believe oranges are Atkins' worst enemy, relative to fruits.
Are you drinking any milk (lactose is a form of sugar)?
As far as I know, if you hook up with green veggies (broccoli, asparagus, green beans), you can get away with a lot, because of the very high fiber content.

No fruit. the first veggies with be at lunch. lettuce is all I'm eating

You consumed over 7 lbs of water. If you were dehydrated to begin with you will see that as temporary weight gain. Stick with it for another 2 weeks. Those 7 pounds and more should have come off by then.

I'm all for water but wow thats a lot. You can eat as much as you want as long as its on the list. Fat cells hold twice as much water as regular cells, once you start burning the fat your weight should drop quick at first.

I weighed myself at mom's yesterday and it said 195 but I know I weigh more than that. I tried to use the scales at work but they always have mail on the fucker.
I'll say 195 for now but with an asterisk until a more reliable source is found.

I'm started doing the Atkins in moderation and have lost 5lbs.
Stopped yesterday and started back with beer and cookies. I've lost 4 lbs. I'm back biatch!
