I am fairly new to this whole download thing.


I missed out completely on Napster if that tells you anything.

Just curious as to which ones you guys use or like.

yeah I found it to be pretty easy as well.

I have had trouble with Morpheus and kazaa was a work somtimes, sometimes not.

wasn't sure about limewire.

I used Audiogalaxy back when you used to have to download by FTP. What's it do now?

I use Kazaa right now.

it the only way to go when downloading....unless you are very very patient... :D

I use WinMX most of the time. LimeWire is not too bad. It's a lot easier to use.

Kazaa gets the most hits you can actually get. QCH, I use WinMX for the most popular stuff, I can usually find older stuff or more obscure stuff on Kazaa or Limewire. Kazaa is definitely easiest if you can get past the popups you get every once in a while.

the only reason i use audiogalaxy is bec that is all i have. dont know how to access kazaa.

what it does now? dont know what it did before. you click go and you type in the artist or tune, it searches then you get to choose ones that are available for download. not all are. copyright b/s, i guess. mostly i get remixes. not as good as the real stuff. every once in while i find them listed on the other pages. just titled different, but same stuff.

I use winmx but I have the add-on program napmx for it. napmx increases your server list tremendously. for example.......with regular winmx you might get 80-100 hits for..... lets use awake by godsmack. But with napmx attatched, you might get 300-500 hits for the same song. It's pretty damn cool!It really helps out when you looking for hard to find songs and videos.
