For those of you who use WinMX this is a great help to you.

Go d/l NapMX from www.zeropaid.com or just go to www.download.com and search for NapMX.
After you get it and install. Open it up and at the top left click on File. Click on Options.. then you'll see where it wants you to create a path to WinMX. Just click AutoDetect. It will find WinMX and then you hit OK.
Go back to the main page in NapMX in the right hand corner you'l see update list to WinMX..click that. The whole page should fill up with servers :)

After doing this open up WinMX. On the serever page you'll see the usual 1 or 2 servers connecting... well my friend under that you see all the other servers not connected. Just hold the cursor over each one and on the right hand of the page you'll see Connect.... click Connect on all the servers.

In other words instead of having 1 or 2 servers you'll have 30-40 or more :)

After doing all of that... search away... but with alot more results. :D

I prefer AG for simplicity but it's getting kind of aggravating searching for songs on page 10-25.
That's my only fuss about AG so I found this and it's easier to find but harder to find someone that's on with that song.

GOOD GOD MAN, HAVEN'T YOU BEEN LISTENING TO ME????

As a loyal DSL-ite for more than 1.5 years, I have made the switch. Do not give Bellsouth your business. Please. They are bastards and their company is in shambles at the moment. Missed communications, cancelled orders. RoadRunner was up in one day. Called Friday, surfing Saturday. Can't beat that. And at the same price. Faster too, I think. Love it. Please, do not give Bellsouth your money. Tell em I said FUCK BELLSOUTH!

Thank you for your support.

This shit works great... you get all kinds of results... problem is finding someone online or just fucking connecting... ughh

Audiogalaxy is the easiest shit in the world but you have to search forever to find a song. If WinMX had the capability as AG satelitte.....perfection.

After the Morpheus upgrade a while back that sucked, I tryed Audiogalaxy and Kaaza... For me... (my PC an connection) Kazza is much faster / broader than AG.

To each there own , but I prefer the simplicity of Kazaa. Like AG just click on it and forget it. Yesterday it hit 2.11 million online at the same time, it was downloading faster than I could punch them in. At this moment I'm downloading 2 files (350mg each) and browsing etc. If your worried about spyware or the cydoor.dll ( I have the patch for this) see this thread. http://www.thisboardrocks.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=8087

GOOD GOD MAN, HAVEN'T YOU BEEN LISTENING TO ME???? I have dsl thru Verizon in Va. no problems here, cheaper, browsing speed the same, downloading and uploading a little slower but it also helped when I added Windows Network Booster then went to dsl reports and did a work up on my mtu and tcp setup.

the jokers on Kazaa like to rename files so that you think it's one thing, but it's really something else. Oh yeah, and I've gotten a couple infected files from them as well. Bleah.

WinMX is becoming too much like Hotwire. Everybody is into "trade mode" where they kick you off their queue if you don't have something they want in return. It's just too easy to be selfish. Sharing program my ass. It's also kinda slow with all the p2p traffic... or at least, it was for me.

It's probably fine for music, but big files (like, say, Warcraft 3) just are impossible to get, I find.

Just hooked up DSL HomePortal and have 2 PC's networked together, both humming along at 14.7mbps of download power.

Ok, I'm a dumbass. I just installed Kazaa and it had nothing about music files. I have seen people spell it several ways- what is the proper spelling and why can't a man with above average intellect figure the MF OUT?

search button should open a page that will give a search input...you can filter by type of file there.
