Yeah it disappeared. What gives?
I repeat, the movie that freaked me out way back when was the 1981 classic, "The Boogens".

Apparently so. Kind of pisses me off. Why delete something as vanilla as what movies scare you? The other ones I guess I can understand.
i wonder if you keep those posts in your number of posts after deleting a thread. Fred may be "message board bulemic."

You know, that movie STILL freaks me out. When Carol-Anne's voice is heard from the "other side", it gives me chills.

The Big Chill. Glenn Close's face scares the shit out of me.
The Shining.
I never have been much for scary movies and I saw that in the theatre at the midnight show.
REDRUM REDRUM.
Everything about that movie scared the piss out of me. Kubrick did a helluva job.
I don't even like talking about it. I forced myself to watch it on HBO last month and he still made my skin crawl.
Todays movies with all the gore just don't hack it.
this new one JasonX looks like it may be pushing the limits on stupidity. The usual ten stupid horny teenagers this time on a spaceship being chased by a cyber Jason - give me a fucking break.
I'm with Boo on The Omen. I was a little kid at the time and we always went to church, so the thought that Damien was out there running around scared the shit out of me for a while.

The Blair Witch Project was good...people were getting so scared in the theatre that they would get up and leave.

I'll be first one in line for Jason X. I am already well aware it will be dumb as hell, but he's my favorite.
Evil Dead
Blair Witch was just eerie
Thing
Night of the Living Zombies
Serpent and the Rainbow
Strangeland

I thought Pet Sematary was very underrated.

Ditto. That was the dumbest fucking movie I ever saw. Great if you like to look at sticks and leaves. 2 hours of looking at the ground in the woods. SUCKED.
I don't watch horror movies. I want to be entertained, not have the shit scared out of me. I guess that's why I freaked when the alien popped out of that dudes chest in Alien. Alien2 was kick ass though.
