I've heard flat panel LCD's are the way to go because they never have to be adjusted like CRT's. Well, OK then, how do you adjust CRT's that are out of focus? (They're are no controls on the front, side back, etc. for this) Is there an adjustment to be made on the tube itself if I take the back cover off? I'm about to splurge for a new one, but I'd like to keep this one as a decent backup (CTX 15").

Follow up: I took the back cover off. On the back of the tube are about six rings with one locking ring. I loosened the locking ring and played with the other rings which basically adjusts where specific colors are fired on the screen. After a bit, I was able to line them all up to where my screen is now considerably better.

You don't get as many colors as you would with a CRT. Also LCD's have to be in a certain lighted area b/c it's affected by light and the kind of light.
