The first ihigh Coaches and Media Poll of the season is out for all four classifications:

The iHigh Coaches & Media state high school girls basketball poll for the week of December 16th. The poll is voted upon by a statewide panel of coaches and sports writers. This is the first poll of the season. The poll will go on hiatus until right after the holidays.

where do they get the records?? freedom has dropped 2 games... east forsyth then lost to freedom... and mcdowell lost one... the mcdowell loss was the most recent, so i can see them missing that, but freedom lost a while ago...

i know polls are opinions... but seems like they would have accurate info to go from... a little disappointing that this poll doesn't have the right numbers to work with

The records were supposed to be as of Tuesday. I e-mailed the lady at ihigh and gave her the correct records for both Freedom and McDowell, and I usually send scores to ihigh, so they can stay up to date with what's going on up here.

its something that has to be done by coaches/staff but with all their responsiblities, others must step in to keep ihigh up to date. We do the same for softball, as coaches here appreciate us doing the reporting while they do the Coaching/Teaching! Thanks bigdan for reporting and i for one will be glad to see Crest reenter the NW4A, especially in Basketball.

Any holiday tournament list out yet...............where is everyone playing?
