Well, since ACR isn't playing tonight, their next game is Friday against Freedom. Everyone knows it's a HUGE game and I know I might be the only one on this board pulling for ACR, but I would like to hear everyones thoughts on the upcoming game. What do you feel each team has to do to be successful, and let's hear a prediction for everyone!

hope just a prediction is ok.........ACR by 6 points. Good luck!
I think for Reynolds to win, they need to play a half court game with lots of balance. Get the ball to Alexander early and pound it inside. Then, that will open up the perimeter for Thompson and Worley. And on defense, keep pressure on the ball so you can disrupt the Freedom offense.
For Freedom to win, they need to get off to a good start. Freedom has a little momentium from the East Burke game, and they need to build on it. Scruggs aand Kidd are gonna need to be strong inside, they cannot let Reynolds have offensive boards. If Freedom can hold Reynolds to 1 & out, they will be in good shape.
I see this game being just like the first matchup. Coaching ended up being the difference, and it may happen again.
I pick Reynolds by 8

There might be a wild card here. Did either team get to practice Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday? It only takes a couple of days to lose a little stamina and get out of synch. Just a question?
I think in this league, first is not the place to be,
Tate hits a last second shot to give Freedom the victory!
I hope?

I know ACR has practiced the past two days at least. Not too sure about Monday. They did hit the court on Tuesday and Wednesday though.

That's good for ACR. Now I've heard Freedom's game with Watauga is Thursday night. Is that good or bad? If it is in Boone, that could be bad. Who knows?

Well, as important as this game is to Freedom and ACR when it gets right down to it, really it's not all that important for ACR. Reynolds has 0 losses, McDowell has 1 loss. Now, IF ACR losses tonight to Freedom, McDowell and ACR will be tied heading into the final game of the season, barring any upsets, and I don't see that happening, Freedom will not beat McDowell at McDowell! So ACR would have to win at McDowell to win the conference. Now if ACR wins tonight they go to McDowell with a 1 game lead, and STILL have to win at McDowell to WIN the conference. Yeah, they could secure a tie and hope to win the draw, but I am talking about WINNING the conference, besides the tournament is AT McDowell, so ACR would have to beat them in the tournament to get the #1 seed in the playoffs. So either way ACR HAS to win at McDowell to get the #1 seed in the playoffs, either in the regular season, or the tournament, this all barring any upsets. So tonights game is important but not as important as people might think! With that said, I am going to say ACR 65 Freedom 62.
