Several outstanding female athletes from our area play for the Falcons and are watched closely, right Cometfan...........

Shenna Bailey, Mindy Hartgrove and Etta Tate are a few who contribute alot with their sticks as well as on the defensive side. Shenna and Etta provide a superb mound presents with Mindy becoming an outstanding second baseman. These three are just a few that i know personally and watched each grow up playing............now at the "Next Level".
ddpitch, where are you?
F-Pitch......can you get some stats on each of these young ladies; hitting and pitching records as soon as you can and please post them in this forum!
Thanks and we hope you college parents and fans will enjoy this new place to track our local players.

CFball, you know I am loving it....Got two players heading to Pfeiffer in the fall off of the traveling team. So, you know I am keeping up with them now and of course in the fall. This forum is great....Now I have a place to talk about USCS come fall of this year.

i knew you would love the Pfieffer Thread...!!

Start a USC-Spartanburg thread and we can talk about Coach Hawkins some too.........he would just love it when he read it this Summer!
Seriously tho.......Iggle Jansowki, Rock Hill native, finished her career there and loved it while graduating with honors in Biology. Evan Miller is a CC standout who he got to play after she was an outstanding Basketball scholarship player will see alot of action for the Rifles this spring. Since your DD is headed that way.....please keep us posted on their progress!

I too love this new forum :D! sorry for muffin your post by hitting edit instead of reply........

Former Mooresville Blue Devil Crystal Furmanijuk is also on that Pfeiffer team and the scuttle is that they are asking Pfeiffer volleyball standout and former Blue Devil Lauren Plyler to try out some at first base.

what year is Lauren? Belmont Abbey now has a pitcher who played volleyball from AZ now playing and doing well for this year's team. Great opportunities for female athletes in NC.

thanks VI!!!! :xyzthumbs

thanks VI!!!! :xyzthumbsI'm pretty sure she is a junior this year. She played softball for a season or two in high school but opted to concentrate on volleyball in her latter years. She is tall and very athletic, maybe it will work out for her .
