About damned time!!! (http://xbox.ign.com/articles/508/508793p1.html)

Madden NFL 2005, NCAA College Football, NASCAR Thunder 2005, and NBA Live comprise the sports package for Xbox Live this fall. The non-sports games are less concrete, but as IGN has learned from several sources close to the company, Battlefield: Modern Combat, EA's new GoldenEye game, and perhaps Burnout 3 are first in line for Xbox online compatibility.

I like Madden. I have played both and I like it better than the Sega/ESPN game. I loved NCAA football. But the Battlefield & Goldeneye games are the real draws here. If they can get a decent version of those games to run on an XBox with Live's voice feature, it could be a lot of fun. Or it could be a bunch of stoner teenaged hackers. I'm hoping for the former rather than the latter.

I wouldn't say that one crushes the other by any means, and even if espn did crush Madden, xbox live would certainly shorten that lead.

I'm *still* playing NCAA for some reason, I started a USC dynasty and I'm gonna break a few records with Colbert.
