I've driven it less that 400 miles since January.
I don't think anyone would buy a car from a guy named "meatpile."
Cmndt. Eric Lassard: What do you intend to do about Mahoney?
Lt. Thaddeus Harris: What's he done?
Cmndt. Eric Lassard: "What's he done?" I'll tell you what he's done . . .
Lt. Thaddeus Harris: Yes, sir?
Cmndt. Eric Lassard: He did a very, very bad thing.
Lt. Thaddeus Harris: To whom, sir?
Cmndt. Eric Lassard: "To whom?"
Lt. Thaddeus Harris: Yes, sir.
Cmndt. Eric Lassard: Well, I don't know.

BMW's are a great deal compared to payroll taxes.

no. Payroll taxes are part of doing business, beemers are just pissing away money.
Without payroll taxes you can't have employees, and if you can't afford payroll taxes you shouldn't be allowed to have employees.

Funny, every month when I pay the payroll taxes, I feel as if I'm pissing money away. I could have several BMWs with the money I've been forced to give the government over the past 12 years.
However, as a long term employer, I'm sure you're qualified to make the judgement. How do your employees feel about these taxes?

think of how much money you would not have had without those employees.

I'm not talking about employees. I'm talking about payroll taxes. Those employees earned every penny.

what really stinks is having to match the social security, none of which will be there one day.
why don't you just outsource to India?
what really stinks is having to match the social security, none of which will be there one day.
self employed people pay both parts themselves.
this is the part of outsourcing overseas people don't get. sending high paying jobs over there and replacing them with lower paying jobs means less social security taxes collected...which will probably mean higher income taxes for you and me down the road.

If the taxes are so bad and driving you to ruin, get out of business and take a 9-5 job.

if you are self-employed, you report your earnings for Social Security when you file your federal income tax return. If your net earnings are $400 or more in a year, you must report your earnings on Schedule SE in addition to the other tax forms you must file....it is called self employment taxes

And this would help how?
I think it would be a much better solution to re-think the role of government.

you are correct. i meant matching what the government makes you take out, which, like you say, is paying both parts.
You and your employer pay in payroll taxes for your whole working life and when you retire you get a small check each month until you die. After that the money stays with the government. If that money had been invested it would be a much larger check each month and when you died your heirs would get what was left.
Payroll taxes are a huge ripoff.

sorry, they changed it. For awhille independent business owners could opt out of the social security system. That's cool, because when they got older the freeloading sonsabitches were paying in their 16 quarters to get medicare.

He really liked it.
I was thinking it may take awhile to sell, but so far, I've had good interest. This guy is the first local guy, and really liked it. Didn't want a certified car, and seems to have plenty of cash.
