This is off the top of my head because I can't remember all the details, but both PS3 and X2 will be similar to the current XBOX. Broadband jack installed, hard drive, DVD Player. The HD will be 40 or 50Gb. Both will have a built in DVR. As far as graphics both will boost the speed and processing ability, but thats pretty much expected. That's all I can remember from what I've read in the past.
i thought I read somewhere that xbox will not have a hd.

any word on the price tags?I think around $300 but if you look at it like You're getting a Game System, a DVD player, and a DVR that's not bad.

yeah, considering what all they do, its a bargain.
I heard closer to $400 than $300...hopefully they get in a price war!

i wonder how the dvr will work. i mean, will they have a tv tuner built in?
the newest version of tivo can be hooked up to your home network and play mp3s.
we're really getting to the point of total convergence... which is what the "play" station was originally designed for -- a box that is part of your entertainment system.
