they had a story about that on the local abc news last night. people are getting speeding tickets because when you put bigger tires on the spedometer doesn't read correctly...same with the odometer. unless you get the speedometer re-calibrated for the new tires, I'd stay off photo-speeding streets.

its a wash. no better no less. bigger tire but also heavier.
