Mileage?
I have the same truck but not 4wd. I estimated your mileage and if you find someone willing to pay that amount please give me their phone number. I have some vehicles to sell.

I am not sure of the exact mileage. It is showing 119k. It had a broken speedometer cable when I bought it.
Try and buy a 4x4 truck in good shape for less than $3k.

try to sell a vehicle without knowing the mileage.

try to sell the vehicle telling someone the cable was broke "a while"
When you are talking about a 16 year old vehicle mileage is not that big of an issue. If it still runs and is in good shape it is just as likely to last regardless of mileage. I have looked around the local papers and can not find a comparable replacement for less money.
NADA average retail is around $3k.
give you 500 cash tomorrow.

redneck.
I would rather keep it than to sell it for less than what a comparable truck sells for.

no offense meant here, and i ain't interested in the truck. but i must say, between this truck and the xterra, your asking prices are too fucking high. that is all.
I admit to being upside down on the Xterra. I am asking $13k for it, which is in line with NADA trade in.
My price on both of the vehicles is less than what you would pay at a car stealership.

a personal seller is not a dealership. you can't sell them for what you're asking.
Why is it worth more if a dealer owns it?

Is that your junk yard that POS is sitting in? Nice touch parking it in the grass :xyzthumbs
If you look closely there are concrete strips under each tire. I do not have enough parking to leave it on the concrete.

I estimated the mileage at 125,000. Private party sale would be $1470.

It does have a minor oil leak which I admitted to in another thread. It is not enough for me to need to add any oil between changes though. Most 16 year old trucks are going to leak a little.
The 1992 is a two wheel drive, mine is a 4x4.

Just at a glance w/o driving it...I'd value it at about $1100. I'd love to have a little truck just like it to drive back and fourth to work. Or throw a roll bar in the back and take it to the trails!
I had an '84 Nissan 2X4 with a solid oak bed...damn thing looked like it should have been full of cantalope, watermellon, and Mexicans with a large sign that said "Fresh Fruit Wagon" on the side.
I still have and I am now advertising it in the local sales paper for $2500. The A/C and four wheel drive both still work. The body is straight and it runs well. The tires are good and the interior is good, except for a cracked dash. It does have a minor oil leak and unknown mileage. It could very easily be used as a daily driver. I have had several people call about it and a couple come look but no one has shown up with the money yet.
Here is a comparable truck listed with a local dealer for $3200

Let us know what you get on Ebay.
I'm betting you won't get $1500.
