I know that some of you whinny assed little cry babies will make fun of this. (You know who you are, so I don't have to name names.) But these people deserved to be remembered.

Let's not forget that these people were Husbands, Wives, Mothers, Fathers, Sons & Daughters. The were friends and lovers. Their only crime was going to work, or day care, or catching a plane that morning and generally going about their life. I feel bad about the amount of lives that have been lost in Afghanistan and Iraq, I didn't start this thread as a debate on whether we shoud be in a war, or have started a war.

Just let us pause and remember what was lost and we can never get back. Part of our freedom, and innocence and way of life. Not since the late 1800's had blood been shed on American soil, due to war. (The Indian wars of the west.) (Hawaii was not a state yet in 1942.)

I hope that each of us in our own way takes a minute to reflect on this day.
