USC-Upstate (Spartanburg) plays all day Saturday on their campus while Sunday, the Southern Explosion 18u plays at 12pm vs SC Bandits, 2pm vs the Carolina Sandlappers and at 6pm the Explosion takes on USC-U also on the campus.


This Saturday, the Southern Explosion DH with Belmont Abbey will begin at 11am and game two to follow at 1pm at the Abbey field.

Thanks CF. Does anyone have any info on any games that LR, Catawba, Pfeiffer, UNC-C, Queens, Wingate, or any other local college games or tournaments this fall?

UNCC plays this Saturday at home against ETSU and Furman

I enjoyed the afternoon in Boiling Springs NC watching D1 Gardner Webb and D2 Belmont Abbey play 2 scrimmage games. The weather was perfect for an afternoon of college softball. I t was great to see some of the girls that I have watched in high school and tournament teams play at the next level for the first time. Also it was good to see many of my old friends, that I hadn’t seen in a long time. Great afternoon of softball.

Pfeiffer at Catawba today 6pm. Game is at Salisbury Community Park, located on Hurley School Rd.

Very enjoyable tournament in Rock Hill SC featuring teams from NC & SC. Winthrop put on the tournament as well as playing. Some of the other teams were Belmont Abbey, SMU, Anderson, USC-Upstate, Queens, Coker, Limestone, Wingate, and Gardner Webb. This was the last fall tournament for many of the teams involved. However some of them will be in Raleigh NC next weekend for the NCSU tournament at Walnut Creek.

Yea, I beat the football traffic. The game was just getting over when I went pass the stadium. I will get back to you in a few days about what we discussed in Rock Hill.
