I'm trying to decide which one to go with. I haven't bought an NBA game since the Hornets left, and it's time to go back since they'll have the Bobcats. Which franchis has been better the past few years?

Outside of Madden, Sega absolutely owns EA in sporting games. The 2k series is better by far.

My 2K has a slight problem with the audio that causes it to freeze up for a couple minutes at a time. You'll be at the LOS and the play clock is ticking away...but you can't snap the ball. Meanwhile, the damn thing repeats itself over...and over...and over... :teeth:

Otherwise, I love it!

I'm getting Segas ESPN NBA 2K5 - $19.99, online leagues and better graphics...

I went with ESPN based soley on price. I'm still getting used to the gameplay, but so far I like it a lot. Melvin Ely is a BEAS.

Is it true that ESPN doesn't have a dynasty mode this year?

No, they have the dynasty, it's just called "The Association."
