Ok, sue me, I've always enjoyed Hootie, specifically Darius Rucker's voice. I enjoy the hits but also the ones that never made it on the radio.

Anyway, has anyone gotten any mp3's from his solo debut? Says its coming out July 30.

Have not tried to post sounds in TBR... I did on the original Charlotte.com board along with a few other folks.

Wait... I just grabbed "This is my World" off of KaZaA. Sounds like a solo deal. Think it may be on the new albulm. Sounds good so far. Little strange not hearing the blowfish singing backup..

Edit: Really liked the tune. by the way, did you hear him sing the National Anthem at a Panther game a year or 2 ago...?

I saw Hootie twice at City Fest. This year and last year. They put on a really good show. I wasn't a fan until I saw them live. They mentioned that a new album will be out in the winter or early next year I think.

I saw him, I guess about 5 years ago at the Outdoor Theatre near Raliegh. Toad The Wet Sprocket came on first and they were pretty good.

It was a great show to chill up on the lawn, drinkin beer, etc. Wife got mad at me a few times cause somehow I ended up a few blankets over dancin with some hot babe...

I checked again, Darius is supposed to have his solo out soon.
