Jefferson Street Joe Gilliam was the best black QB ever (RIP). He made Doug Williams look like a wuss. Although he was many years gone, Seifert and Polian combined to add him to the active roster (spanning regimes). He was our best black QB ever.

James Harris? Marlin Briscoe? Craig? Nah. Joe was the man. He actually beat-out Bradshaw (short-term).

Big Mark had a gun, but couldn't get it though airports. He was fast to the beer truck, but couldn't turn the corner. He also couldn't get out of bounds fast enough, unless it was on the side with the cheerleaders. He had talent, but didn't fit into Seifert's system. When he found out he didn't, he went looking for an assistant coach to assault.

But he was the only Panther QB to wear #34.
