Thanks for the heads up chuck... They would not hire me. Some kind of "no compete clause" at PCA. The PI guys are former PCA execs and they will not mess with hiring ANY former PCA employees. They had to wait 3 years after their departure from PCA before starting PI. I believe it opened within a week or so of the end of their "waiting peroid".
Oh yeah, and I do like Chick-Fil-A. It is a great company to work for and the guy I work for is really great. Our new store opens in March. For now, I am working in a food court CFA with about a tenth of the sales of a free-standing store... partially due to lack of drive-thru window, but mainly because of the new Coastal Grand Mall that opened earlier this year. Inlet Square Mall's business has dropped by almost 80% and a lot of stores are leaving after the first of the year.
As for photography in Myrtle Beach, I am partnering with an established pro who has all the best digital equipment. I just had a shoot this morning at the beach with a biker with his Boss Hoss motorcycle with a Chevy 300 engine. I made a quick $50 in one hour. The pictures are for a show and magazine. The guy is also going to have a ton of big prints made. $$$$$$!!!!
So yeah... I'm doing ok. At least I am not stuck in some studio shooting kids all day.

Now this Boss Hoss is a sweet bike! If I worked at Portrait Innovations, I might be able to afford one. Oh well.

Thanks, muff.... I can do just about anything with a picture, but keep me out from under the hood of a car.

Ok, here it is... my first attempt at motorcycle photography. :) Now that's an engine! When I asked the owner how he shifts gears, he pointed at a toggle switch on the handle grip and said - "See this... push it left and it's in neutral. Push the switch right and the SHIT IS ON!!! 0 to 60 in 1.4 seconds!"
