What makes Eminem any better than any other rapper? He is just a controversal white guy who is the flavor of the day. I can listen to some rap music but maybe I am just to old to listen to this guy? :confused:

He's not the best rapper. Far from. He's got decent music behind him, but he's not my style guy. Still, his words are interesting and I'll give his more commercial tracks a hot listen or two.

Listen to THE ROOTS, TRibe, De la, or in the past couple years, MOS DEF. All these are my fav rap performers to date. They have better lyrics than M&M's.

He's a white boy who can actually rap (unlike Vanilla Ice). He can flow with the best of them in the game today. And when you have a beat maker like Dr. Dre producing you you're an automatic superstar.

He's got a "fuck the world" attitude. And sadly enough, there are lots of people out there that think like that. Not saying they're the majority, but there are some that really relate/feel what he's saying.

I don't, but I'll admit I have his new album. And to be honest with you, I think some of the things he says is down right hilarious.

Personally I like Eminem. Slim Shady LP was great and actually hiliarious in parts. MM LP was a disappointment to me, but The Eminem Show is really good. The guy is entertaining and that the bottom line IMO.
