As a Charlotte alumni, it's good to see the Niners have finally realized Ohio, Maryland and Kansas aren't the only states where they play high school baseball. Give credit to the new assistants for that. In years past, Hibbs & Co. spent so much of their time looking for the diamond in the rough pitchers from Timbuktu that had major league potential, or recruits with "bloodlines" so Hibbs could toot his own horn for "discovering them" when they were drafted. If you look at the Niners roster, just about every junior on the team is listed as "undecided" on their major. That's surprising. Sounds like they have their priorities in order out there.....baseball before academics. :thinking:

Haven't seen them practice, but sounds like they are pretty sound this year.
As for the academic part, if you notice, the freshman tore it up on the Honor Rolls, Both internal and C-USA!
