I am happy for Bill Ellis and also the Crest Chargers. I played for Bill in 1988 at McDowell High School. He is a good guy and good coach. He never would have left MHS when he did if he had known that RS Central was going to screw him over. But RS Central had to let the "thug" Ken Hines have his turn at coaching.

When is Crest coming back to the NW4A?

They're not. According to NCHSAA Realignment info, Crest will join an almost revived version of the old ME-GA 7 with some teams from Gaston and Mecklenburg counties to include Crest.

remember that situation at RSC well, another rutherford county screw-up equals a huge plus for the young men of cleveland county(Crest)!
