Ever wake up in the morning after sleeping with your head turned the wrong way and have a knotted up muscle in your neck? The kind that hurt like a big dog if you try to turn your head the wrong way? I got one today, anyone have cure?

Applying heat helps that a bit. You could use either a wheat bag or hot water bottle and with the gentle massage, it can ease it a lot. I hate that feeling - it's nasty...hope the massage got it sorted Thelt :).

Sorry about the crick thelt, Advil, heat and light massage, as you said are probably best at this point. I will have to admit that it's sorta fun watching people with them. Yeah, I know I'm asking for one tomorrow.

My wife has one in her neck now, maybe it is contagious. I think it is an injury from bouncing a crying baby in the middle of the night with your neck and shoulder at an odd angle. Mine feels alot better today but I still have a big knot in my neck muscle.....

that baby bouncing will take it's toll.

i've had a stiff neck for about 3 weeks now. not sure why. is that a symptom for something other than stiff neck?
