I hit the weight machines but I did not push it really hard since it was my first time in the gym in six months. I did make it thirty minutes on the recumbant bike though. I thought my calf muscles were going to explode at about twenty eight minutes. I know one workout does not accomplish much but I feel better today than I have in a while.....

I went back to lifting after being off for 25 years. The first 2 weeks had me in pretty bad shape and hurting pretty bad. I am starting to look forward to it 3 times a week now.

If I can get in better shape I might even get back in to karate. I have not done it much the past few years. My knee just wont hold up but maybe if I get in shape and lose some weight it wont put as much strain on it.

my legs feel better already. I even walked 18 holes playing golf. I've lost over 30 pounds now and i can feel it. the only problem is I don't want to get real serious about lifting till I can eat the right foods. Once I get to the weight I want to be I believe I may do some serious lifting.
You better do it now cause it don't get no easier as you get older.:(

I have that nice sore feeling where it really does not hurt but you are aware of your muscles. It may not be so nice tommorrow though, it usually hits me the second day after worse than the first.

eat some nanners and massage.

don't push yourself too hard or you could hurt yourself and get discouraged. gradual is best and allows your body to adapt.
