Ruptured Achilles Tendon...

trying to leg out a double into a triple. It's time to face facts, I'm getting old. Dr. says I'll need surgery to reattach the tendon and I'll be off my feet for a minimum of 12 weeks after the surgery. Anyone ever have this type of injury? What did you do to ease the pain? How long were you off your feet? Dr. gave me percocet to take 4 times daily. It puts me right to sleep.

Just had a friend who had that done. She couldn't work for about 4 months but she's a landscaper. It was very painful for her, but she's a little bit of a wimp.
