View Full Version : Is state still a lock after losing to GA tech?

Obviously state still hasn't thrown itself into the upper echelon of the acc. I woud hope that state still is a lock, but GA tech is not a good loss to have. Unless you have only lost like 5 games. I think they'll still be in, but i bet they'll be way off what their projected seed is. And why UVA is even top 25 material is beyond me. This maybe the most overrated team in the history of college basketball.

I sho' hope so. I think they're in assuming they beat Carolina and the first game of the ACC tourney. Beating Wake would be good, too.

NCSC should be in but I can really see them as "that team" that gets screwed every year. They are the perfect canidate for this honor.

well, uva was screwed by unc a couple of years ago. It could happen to uva this year, although, there are probably teams that started really bad that are playing well now that completely deserve a bid over uva.

I think it sucks bigtime that we lost to Tech last nite. Would have been in the big dance, and if things work like they are supposed to, if we had won last nite and if Wake loses to Duke tonite, then we'd have been in third place heading into the ACC tournament. Now, we've got to beat Carolina and the Wake game is going to be huge for ACC tournament seeding.
Agree about UVA. Way overrated. THey must be paying somebody off.

UVa was screwed by their weak schedule a couple of years ago.

I think we'll be OK. Maybe this will be a wake-up call. It seemed to work for Duke.

Lets hope so. And no more upsets, I'm not rooting for Duke to win tonite, more like rooting for Wake to lose.

If State can hit 20, they are in.

Well, tying unc in conference play, and beating them 3 times that year should've been enough to put them ahead of the heels. But, what do i know?

I agreed at the time, too. But that fool from UNLV who was chairing the committee at the time said it was their schedule. Didn't mean to get you riled.

not riled up, just wanted to make sure you weren't trying to glorify the almighty heels. They don't need your help, they have doh.
