    Dareus is the guy I and some others wanted instead of Newton. It's always fun to point out when I was wrong about something. :mdrmed:

    I wanted a vet QB and had wanted DT for years, too. So I was there.

    And he's not only playing well, he's saying the right things too (though not always correctly, lol).

    I forget who I wanted. I do remember praying for us to take Cam once Gabbert started being floated as a possible #1.

    I think I wanted Patrick Peterson, who has been an ok cornerback. Dareus is a very good player, but it's funny how guys picked just behind Cam have had serious character issues.

    I would hate it if somebody carved off Heath Evans face and fed it to wolves. That would be a tragedy.
