Did anyone notice that UNC did not make the tourney. Oh well... Seriously. Here's who got screwed.

    Butler - 25-5. BS
Gonzaga - 6 seed, ranked 7th. Go figure
Ohio State - unranked MSU wins SEC, gets 3 seed. OSU gets a 4.
UNC-Charlotte- Dammit. I'm just glad they got in, but damn.
State- nice to see them in the tourney, but not for long. Michigan State first round, UCONN next. That sux.
Dook once again is guaranteed a trip to the Final Four. Looks like the selection committe are from New jersey.
Georgia - Who did they sleep with last night. A 3 seed??? C'mon.

If I'm Charlotte I'd be begging to drop from 9 to 10.

Absolutely. Wake got the best draw of all. Too bad they are so inconsistent not to take advantage of it. If Charlotte had the 7 or 10 in Wake's spot I would put them in the Elite Eight.

I can look on the bright side though. While it's our weakest tourney team in a few years, I do think that good guard play will keep us with Duke for a while and we wouldn't otherwise even get a chance to play them.

I'm sure they will be whining about something today.

I think Wake can still make the Elite 8, but it depends on Songaila. If he stays out of foul trouble, they are one of the nation's best teams. If not, they're done early. I also think State can make the Final Four if they get past MSU. UConn is beatable, and they've just beaten Maryland. The SEC is overrated, as the seedings attest. Had Kentucky and Florida lived up to expectations this season, it might be the strongest conference. But they didn't, and it isn't.

    .

Yeah, they do tend to have this me-against-the-world attitude. I love my team and all but I won't ever be more than a casual fan because I think I realize that despite all the overachievng, the rest of the basketball world really doesn't care.

I can release that one to public domain. Just don't involve me :D
I really do enjoy my 49ers, used to camp out and all that, but I just can't follow them much anymore. Nothing personal, I don't follow the Hornets either like I should.
