Hangartner was not a bad player until last season, so if Jones ends up being equivalent, then that's better than we typically do with a 4th round pick. I like his experience and versatility.

Hangartner has been a poor player every year of his career except 2011, when he inexplicably played pretty well. Jones would be a solid backup due to his smarts and technique, so there is some value in that, but I think this team really needs to take a chance on a potential starter at guard or tackle even if it doesn't work out.

If he was as awful as you say, he wouldn't be in the league this long, let alone a starter. see Otah, Jeff.

Yeah if he was there in five, I'm all over it. Doubt we get him though.

David Carr still has a job. You can hang in this league and not be good.

To me hangartner was always a guy that left you saying if- if he was a bit stronger/quicker/technical he could be something. There's value in being not horrible and versatile but people seem to be getting a hard on for Jones as if he'll be so much more than that.

I have no illusions of gaining a starter in this round or for the rest of the draft. I'm only hoping for quality depth, or maybe a slot receiver for 2014 and beyond.

Would like Rambo here but I dont see this team drafting him or Rogers to be honest.

Swope or Patton are probably the highest graded guys we brought in.

I wouln't mind Schwenke here either.

    Porter or Greene for OLB?

    Okafor?

Schwenke Ive been on for a while. He still around? I know G isn't his best spot, but he's a good one. And I think he can make the move.

He's never been very good. He hangs around because he's a versatile, low maintenance player who is smart as hell and knows his assignments.

He's just not physical enough to ever be anything more than a stopgap.
