If he wasn't such a valuable player, possibly.

    Has it happened before?

I don't truly think that CN is MVP material. Some might, but that's OK.

Has something like this happened before? Sure it has. Happens in college, too. See RG3 and Andrew Luck.

Well, I don't give a fuck about the MVP thing, nor do most panther fans, really.

But he's pretty valuable to the Panthers and his/our community no matter what color he is.

    Andrew Luck: affirmative action?

    Really?

I might say Johnny football: affirmative action for petite, white punk, lame ass, running around douche bag QBs who like to part more than study/improve their game.

    Besides, what's the problem?

I thought most all you educator types love you some affirmative actions. Ya'll invented the practice.

RG3 won that year, not Luck. Luck was clearly the better player.

I am for some level of AA when it comes to the downtrodden and disabled, but not for athletes and idiots that paint with such a wide brush.

Wow, you sure get bent out of shape when ribbed back, man.

For the record, any AA is quite idiotic. But this is not the forum to debate it.

So the brush painted just broad enough, now didn't it?

I will note you're probably correct about the RG3 and Luck thing. See what AA gets ya?
