I'm surprised that's such a light punishment, relatively speaking. I know it's like up to 20 years if you point a laser pointer at an aircraft.

I also think it's hilarious and people need to rediscover a god damn sense of humor.

I think what happened is that he was selected for additional screening, got upset, and then said something about "not having a bomb or anything." But if you mention the b-word at all in an airport then you're in deep shit. It is aggravating to deal with the TSA, but if Aldon doesn't know he needs to avoid controversy at all costs by now then he never will.
