    I totally agree, and I think Jamaal Charles owes his success to Alex Smith. Defenses have to account for Smith's elite arm, leaving more running room for Charles and Knile Davis. I also think Kelce is a practice squad level player who's stats are inflated by Smith's presence.

    Wow, I just saw that Hoyer was 16 of 41 against Jacksonville. Against Jacksonville.

    Bortles was also pretty bad stats wise. I'm not sure whether Browns Jags or Titans Skins was the greater bad QB battle.

    Denver Broncos practice squad safety John Boyett was cut today after a Wednesday morning incident involving a scuffle with a cab driver. According to Denver police, Boyett, who was intoxicated at the time, punched and head-butted a cab driver before stealing a shovel from a nearby construction site and trying to bury himself in mulch.

    Based on the story from the Denver Post, Boyett comes off as a tad unhinged. After being arrested by the cops, Boyett "told arresting officers to 'contact his boss 'John Elway'' before repeatedly slamming his head into a patrol car window while yelling and spitting". Wow. How drunk was this guy?
