    Washington Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall was already out for the 2014 season after suffering a torn Achilles, but his recovery timetable has now been extended after he re-tore the surgically repaired tendon.

    According to the team's official Twitter account, head coach Jay Gruden confirmed that Hall suffered the injury at his home:


    Gruden said CB DeAngelo Hall -- who recently had season-ending surgery to his Achilles -- re-tore injury at home last night; needs surgery.

    Tarik El-Bashir of CSNWashington.com reports the former Virginia Tech standout slipped in his kitchen en route to a late-night snack:


    Gruden said DeAngelo Hall's latest Achilles injury happened in his kitchen. Slipped while getting a late night slice of pizza.
