RG3 benched for Colt McCoy. I'm glad we're not Washington.

That trade with the Rams really worked out

Neither team has really done anything with that trade so far. The Rams got some good young players, but they still suck. It's kind of similar to the Ricky Williams draft trade where Washington got a bunch of picks but never really built anything from them.

Yep. It's one thing to make trades and get picks. But if you pick shit players you still don't have R. Williams for example

I think STL has traded back several times with those 1st rounders. Not really sure what their strategy is. They've gotten a decent core out of it, but they could have gotten a lot more.

Holy shit. "Studies indicate that 78 percent of NFL players are bankrupt within two years of retirement." Here's a similar story from a hockey player: NHL player files for bankruptcy after parents borrow $15 million in his name | For The Win

I said from the second it was announced that hiring Jay Gruden made no sense whatsoever because he had shown nothing to indicate he could adjust to utilize RG3's talents. Griffin is flawed, obviously, and I predicted that the media would turn on him the way that they turned on Cam, but he obviously should be that team's starting quarterback. They crippled themselves by hiring the wrong head coach.

The Rams picked Michael Brockers, Janoris Jenkins, Greg Robinson, Alec Ogletree, Stedman Bailey, Zac Stacy, and a couple of late round misses just from the one Griffin trade. I'd say they did damn well, it's the rest of their team that has been the issue.

I think Brockers and Austin were pretty shitty picks considering some of the alternatives they had, but overall I guess they've done OK.

Steve Smith doesn't think that pick was all that good.

Brockers has done pretty well, particularly against the run.
