Can it work in the NFL, or will he have to adapt somewhat?

anywhere I lay my head I'm gonna call my home
    absolutely adapt.
But, the spread is alive and well in the NFL, even if not everyone's spread option. Would need some speed, at backup RB and WR, definitely.

I think his packaged run/pass plays would kill in this league. Aaron Rodgers uses them occasionally. It's usually a stick/draw type choice.

I don't, however, think that the air-raid type college spread guys, the Mike Leach/Dana Holgorsen lineage and so on, could survive. Then again Gary Crowton had success for a year in the pros, so it depends more on longevity.

Honestly, the zone concepts most teams use from WCO and Coryell concepts isn't much different from option type zone reads. Just depends on who's reading it.

I have to admit, it's pretty damn cool to watch. It's not reckless either. It's fast and aggressive but not careless.

he runs his practices the same way... fast

and he runs what he runs in college right not because that's what works where he's at... he's capable of coaching in the NFL

Yeah, it's awesome to watch his offenses basically "Hey bitches, try to keep up with this." Actually, let's stop talking about Chip Kelly because I'm going to be bummed when he goes somewhere else. Hell, just think that he only backed out of the Tampa Bay job at the last minute.

I think it would be neat to see who would be a good coach who's not Chip Kelly.

I vote Norv Turner, who's with me? :p

Yea, that list does nothing for me. I don't know if JR would be able to deal with Ray Horton's hair.

I doubt Chip Kelly is coming here, so who would you want other than him?
