Getting stuffed by Stanford hints at some of the struggles that offense will have against NFL fronts, but I still want him as the Panthers' coach. I'm hoping that A) Richardson will be interested at all, and B) having Newton & Stewart will overcome less offered salary. I can't think of any other openings that have a QB in-house capable of running his offense if Philadelphia cuts Michael Vick as expected.

That game was not his best audition. Was it Alabama they lost to a few years ago that made them look that bad too?

Now I know why they went for it on 4th down early. Their kicker really blows.

Made Shaw look mighty attractive tho. They played tough against ND too.

Why am I sure that Richardson won't even interview him?

Im more impressed with Chip Kelley's process than his scheme's as a head coach...plus he has experience as a head coach of some sort - which neither Foxy nor Rivera had before getting the gig here. Scheme wise, I'm sure he'll have to adjust to the NFL more than the league will have to adjust to him.

He's willing to think outside the box and try stuff. For instance, he likes to practice in the morning because physiologically that's the best timeof the day for the body to do so, stuff like that. I can also remember and article Kris Jenkins wrote about life in the NFL, in which he cited the one of the big advantages the Patriots had as a team was their commitment to athlete recovery. In contrast, he recalled how Mangini was the opposite, severely taxing the players in practice in preparation for games.
