I remember in '03 that Jake needed to get slobberknocked before he'd settle down. Until then, his throws were all over the place.

I'm pretty sure they do. I've seen him motion, get the ball on reverses, and play the X, Y, and Z positions. He's just not getting open like he used to.

Clausen sucks, I don't care what any of you dumbass homers say.

And tell me oh great Mags, where are those great developed players Fox and Co have 'developed' where you dissagreed with me this past week about?

You can make a list and we can debate it. I'm sure it will be a long list.

I think this FO and staff are pretty decent at drafting/developing defensive talent. However, they fucking blow on the offensive side of the ball for scouting/development, especially for post 1st round picks.

Collins does not count. He may have gotten to a superbowl and had a few probowl years but he is not a franchise QB.

I had guarded optimism about Clausen until he tanked on his last series.

    Fuck'n-a.

Matt Moore's the unluckiest son-of-a-bitch out there. His first play on the first series he's in on since he's been benched....and his pass bounces off of the most inexperienced wide receiver out there and is intercepted. Shitty pass, yes...but any other WR probably would've caught it.

Damn, it sucks to be a Panthers fan right now. The offense is arguably at the lowest that it's ever been in our existence.

in the big picture, "decent" is being kind. but agreed on the offense.

I think Jimmy hurt his big toe (I assume it's the same toe) on that one play where he planted his foot. After that his accuracy was all over the place, including missing that deep shot by a mile.

I hope it's not serious but he didn't look the same to me after that.

Well, Clausen played like shit, but I certainly wouldn't put it all on him. The offensive line sucked, the play calling sucked, the WR's sucked, not to mention the injury, so pretty sure his confidence was shot. They still need a vet in the mix for QB for a year or two whether a starter or 2nd string.

The defense actually did really good other than the one run play of 68 yards.

Special teams really started out dreadful.

Meh, a new coach soon and a high draft pick for next year to build on I guess.
