    Yes I understand he gets paid but he walked away from the job that most assistants would take half as much to have. Stupid wording of contract by bills to allow an employee to walk away with cash in hand.

    It was a pretty unique circumstance with the team getting sold, as that obviously doesn't happen very often. Marrone made the right decision because he was going to get fired if he stayed given how much he clashed with their front office, meanwhile the Bills ended up with a better head coach. Everyone wins.

    Listening to new coaches and new GMs talking about "compatibility" and "the right fit" and "the right guy for me" makes me so god damn uncomfortable.
    I get what they mean to say, but for fuck sake, take some of the homo out of it.
