Why is local sports talk radio, WFNZ, obsessed with the alleged deflation of footballs in the Patriots/Colts game? The early morning show spent 4 hours beating it in the ground, and the mid-day show has spent 1 1/2 hours talking about it. I don't know about the mid-morning show. That show is unlistenable. Personally I couldn't care less. :twocents:

It's not even a real thing. The ball was removed from play at the start of the third because they had accidentally sent in a k-ball (kicking). I hate the Patriots, but this whole nonsense is asinine and irritating.

Now "Primetime" feels obligated to discuss it. Lazy-ass radio station.

Better question is why do you listen to WFNZ?

...and guess who has talked about it ad nauseam this morning. Obviously, there is nothing else to talk about in sports for the past two days.

Iceberg, tip. Not that anyone should care anything at all about a deflated football, especially if both teams get it but it goes beyond that. Their behavior has now proven them to have an ongoing policy of bending and breaking rules. Not just a one time lapse of judgement, but repeat offenders.

They are probably only alone in terms of getting caught, but there it is.

I am tired of Goodell unilaterally and arbitrarily punishing people, but something should happen. I'm not sure you can ever stop them short of forcing Kraft to sell, and removing the coach. Which, sure, that'll happen (but lol do not use discriminatory language in a private conversation, because then it really will).
