We really do need someone that can stand 15 yards in front of a jugs machine set wide open, and reliably catch the ball. Maybe a souped up jugs machine.

 

I would expect arrogant WRs to assume that most of other WRs are worse than them and looking at our depth chart they may not be wrong. Randy Moss wanted to play with Mike Vick, which I think would've ended hilariously, though the Aaron Brooks experiment was probably close enough.

 

Torrey would be great but being from Maryland and catching Flaccos rainbows he aint going anywhere.

Denarius Moore might be worth looking at but most of those guys are fucking dogcrap.

 

I am not looking this up but offhand, with a few exceptions, how many of even the top FA WRs over the years have thrived with their new team? Randy Moss, Welker (particularly the first time), Smitty for a few months (but he is Smitty), Boldin maybe. Seems like there are just as many Mike Wallace and Peerless Price scenarios.

 

Wallace has been fine from a performance standpoint. He's a bad fit for their offense and a total headcase.

I'd be fine with a draft pick. Making a splash in free agency doesn't matter to me, and the cap situation is still pretty daunting when you take into account the looming contracts of Cam and Kuechly.
