2015 3-Round Projection - Great Blue North Draft Report

If this is how it shakes out I'd have to go with OT Ereck Flowers in round 1, WR Sammie Coates in round 2 ans DE Henry Anderson from Stanford in round 3. Coates would be a great complement to KB. Needs work but has so much potential. And Anderson really got some rave reviews at Sr Bowl as a guy who lacks all the measurables but can flat out make plays.

After the Sr Bowl I'd be shocked if WR Phillip Dorsett lasts to our pick in round 3. But if he did he'd be a great pick.

I would not hesitate to draft Gurley at 25.

He didn't say anything about giving new England a future firs so he could draft a guard with Gurley though

Tolbert is an aging fullback, DeAngelo is getting cut, and Stewart is injury prone.

Noted. I'm just not a RB in the 1st guy, nothing against Gurley.

Btw, I am thinkiing Gettleman can pick up a street FA LB or S and switch him to running back, no problem.

The Double Trouble pairing worked pretty damn well, so I don't get why everyone is so phobic about drafting running backs. The contracts we gave them were fucking stupid but I never minded the actual picks.

    Coates has horrendously bad hands.

    Who you callin' a backaphobe?

Just prefer taking them later. Even our 1st round gems suck if there is nothing in front of them, or no passing game. And now we have Cam in the mix too. Plenty of very productive guys came from mid rounds and later even, it's just that I favor looking at them there.
