Gettleman is God

I was pretty stunned to see that Cam has been hit more than twice as much as any other quarterback in the NFL since he entered the league 2011. Twice as much as anyone else. Jesus Christ.

 

I'd say right now if you were looking for a GM to fill holes in a team from the free agent bargain bin, Gettleman would have to be on the short list. How he handles "franchise" players is where the question marks are.

With exception of former players like John Elway and Ozzie Newsome and a owner/GM or two, there aren't many good GM's in the league that fans actually like as human beings. Hurney was a pretty nice guy and look where that got him.

 

I wouldn't mind knowing the breakdown of the hits by running play, outside the pocket, in the pocket, in the pocket over x seconds, and whatever category I am overlooking.

 

He runs the ball a lot and holds onto it for forever trying to make a play. Does diving over a pile count as like 3 hits or just 1? He doesn't ever slide.


Id like to know where he stands on getting hit in the pocket minus all the runs and stuff.
