    Sounds like it might be a Stephen Davis/Foster situation up there with Pete stubbornly sticking with the veteran. Fine by me. Pretty dumb for Seattle to cave like that.

    I figure Seattle just paid him some harmony money to have one more year to run the wheels off before they cut him. He's also something of a fan hero so cutting him this late in the year could be a little damaging.

    It's very unusual for a team to cave when they have all of the leverage. I understand the PR angle but you can't worry about that stupid shit.

    Seattle changed $1 million of incentives to salary and moved $500k from 2015 to 2014. Meanwhile Lynch basically assured himself of being cut after this season.
