I'm just here so I won't get fined

Being in a division with three perennially mediocre teams is an argument. It's hard to believe that none of those teams have ascended to a championship level in the last 13 years. I know the Jets made a couple AFC title games but that was more about getting hot at the right time. They've never had a legitimate divisional rival.

 

Agreed but with what 5 super bowl appearances in 10 years it's hard to argue with them.

 

They kinda remind me of the 80's 49ers, when the NFCW was shit except them. But it's hard to argue they weren't good because they did win championships. Until the Panthers got there, of course.

 

I'm not denying that they've had a hell of a run. I'm just pointing out that they've had a ridiculously easy division to win and their only real competition in the AFC was Peyton Manning's one man band in Indianapolis.


Plus they lost two Super Bowls to a Giants team that came from the wildcard round in both seasons.


Plus they were cheating in the Super Bowls they won.

 

Don't forget the tuck rule fumble that essentially put them in in 2001 as well.

 

odds started off at 8-1 he'd get fined on media day… and looks like NFL will fine him for wearing beast mode hat

and technically he could get fined for answering like a dumbass… available to the media is more that just attending

 

Maybe he would open up more if the media would quit asking the same stupid fucking questions.
