I love that DA put it up for him to go get it. McCown could have been doing the same with Jackson & Evans, but for whatever reason kept refusing to take 1 on 1 shots downfield. Definitely an impressive debut for the young man.

Loved it, but a little part of me gets even angrier that we don't have 89 to compliment 13 & 88.

On the bright side, this guy really is an excellent looking player.

    After 3 games 16 rec/253yds/2 TD's...

    Extrapolate to a full season that's 85 rec/1,350yds/10-11 TD's

    That's OROY #s.

Be interesting to see how defenses adjust to him as they learn his tendencies and strengths/weaknesses. I noticed last night that Pitt always seemed to have a S over the top on his side. You can do that when you get pressure with 3 rushers.

    Rookie WR after 6 weeks

    KB 31/416/4
    Hurns 18/298/3
    Cooks 32/255/1
    Matthews 23/226/2
    Landry 18/186/1
    Adams 16/167/1

    KB's production over 6 extrapolates to a full season 83 rec/1,110yds/11 TD

    Again, those are OROY #s...

Of course he walked into a perfect situation with our depleted WR corps but it's one thing to have an opportunity presented and another to take advantage of it.

So far he's been worth it.

He's cooled off since the first three games but I'm pleased overall.
