I actually feel good about it today. I think that the Panthers have something to prove after being throttled last weekend. We have played very well at BOA lately and I think that they will come out with a chip on their shoulders.

Me too. Seems like we never rattle Brees, I don't expect that to change. They'll probably pick on Godfrey.

Brayton has been better at contain but they'll probably suck him in and Bush will get outside.

On offense we'll probably line up wrong and FS all over the place. Smitty should be able to burn them though, and Ellis is out so maybe we can run a little even with the scrubs playing OL.

    Inactives vs. Saints
Posted by Darin at 10/19/2008 10:14 AM CDT on Herald Online

To no surprise, the Panthers will be without RT Jeff Otah and C Ryan Kalil today against New Orleans. That means another week for Jeremy Bridges and Geoff Hangartner, and for just the second time this year they’ll start the same line in back-to-back weeks.

Otherwise, not much new on the inactive report. LB James Anderson is up instead of LB Adam Seward (hamstring), his first activation of the year. I will take accountability here, as I had previously suggested Anderson would never suit up here again. So there you go.

Also down today are: WRs D.J. Hackett and Kenneth Moore, DT Gary Gibson and CB C.J. Wilson and third QB Matt Moore.

The Saints will be without DT Sedrick Ellis.
