    Fears: Cooks could have a game day against our secondary. Saints will run the ball effectively.

    Hopes: The Saints are playing away and they are a different team outside the dome.

    This could be the week New Orleans gets right with their road struggles. Or we could beat them by 17 points. I no longer attempt to predict what will happen in an NFL game.

    Panthers will be without left tackle Byron Bell vs. Saints

    The Panthers offensive line issues, already ridiculous, just got worse.

    Panthers coach Ron Rivera just told reporters that starting left tackle Byron Bell was out for tomorrow night’s game against the Saints because of a knee injury.

    That means undrafted Canadian rookie David Foucault will get the start protecting Cam Newton’s blind side.

    Of course, Newton’s been running for his life lately anyway.

    Starting guards Amini Silatolu and Trai Turner are also out, which should make an already sketchy offensive line even more dubious.

    Fellow undrafted rookie Andrew Norwell will start next to Foucault on the left side, and veteran Fernando Velasco will again start on the right.
