    Rivera has ties to Ron Turner who has done ok with WR's in Indy, Turner also had a limited stint as Stanford's OC in 2009.

    there's also some rumors going around that John Ramsdell, QBs coach with SD now and with St. Louis during Warner, isn't under contract for 2011. Closest I can find is that he signed a 3 year extension 3 years ago, but I can't otherwise confirm the rumor. He's only available if he's not under contract, or if the Chargers let him out of contract.

    He might not be the flashy name that JR might want - compared to McDaniels, or to Childress (who has a past with Rivera) - but he might be the best candidate.
